“Everyone negotiates the stresses of daily life—and therapy can help us all lead fuller, more intentional lives.”
Therapy that is
-
Welcoming
In our first meeting, I’ll start by learning what you’re feeling and what you’re seeking from therapy. My focus will be on creating a welcoming and non-judgmental space for you to share. I’ll be conscious of the roles that family, culture, identity, and socioeconomics play in your experiences.
-
Collaborative
As I come to understand your unique needs, we’ll work towards healing and growth by addressing both your immediate difficulties and underlying root causes. Along the way, I’ll seek your feedback to ensure our approach is tailored to meet your needs.
-
Holistic
Our work will include traditional psychotherapeutic practices as well as other health, wellness, and holistic tools. These techniques may include CBT and talk therapy; exploring mindfulness practices like meditation, visualization, or breathwork; or even reviewing your exercise, nutrition, and sleep hygiene.

Common questions
-
I do not take insurance as a direct form of payment, however most insurance companies will offer a range of reimbursement options for out-of-network mental health care. I will provide you with a monthly Statement for Reimbursement form that will include all the necessary information for your insurance claims to be processed.
-
If you need to cancel or change your scheduled appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. I will do my best to accommodate all re-scheduling requests. However, if I’m unable to reschedule you and I have not received 48 hour notice, you will be responsible for the session fee.
-
Currently all of my sessions are being held remotely via a HIPAA-compliant Zoom link.
-
Individual psychotherapy sessions are 45 minutes in length. I typically meet with clients on a weekly basis, although other arrangements are sometimes made based on your individual needs
